What is the use of granite?

First, general use

1. The unique physical characteristics of granite and its beautiful pattern make him a good material for construction. He is known as the "King of Rocks," and there are people who use one, two, three, and four tests to evaluate whether it is good or not. . In the construction, granite can be used from the roof to the floor, and the curb of the sidewalk is also, if it is crushed, it can be made into a cement or rock filling dam. Many places or objects that need to withstand wind, rain, or long-term survival are made of granite. For example, the "Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall" brand in Taipei and the Monument to the People's Heroes in front of the Tiananmen Square in Beijing are made of granite. Granite has survived the millennia's enduring character, as evidenced by the famous Egyptian pyramids.

2, granite structure, hard texture, beautiful color, high quality building materials. The compressive strength varies depending on the type and origin of the stone and is about 1000-3000 kg/cm. Granite is not easy to weather, beautiful color, appearance and color can be maintained for more than a hundred years, due to its high hardness, wear resistance, in addition to being used as a high-level architectural decoration project, the ground floor, or open-air carving of the preferred material.

Second, commercial use

1. Commercial granites include granites, gneisses, gneiss granites, granite schists, and what scholars call sacite and granodiorite rocks with intervening rocks. Gneiss rocks include minerals, granites, and granular crystal organizers. Commercial granites also include other similar tissues, feldspathic crystalline minerals containing a small amount of accessory minerals, mainly for decorators, such as the Calculi plagioclase, known by petrologists. Gneiss is a coarse-grained crystalline rock, mainly composed of silicate minerals, mosaic and granular crystal structure, different types of minerals are arranged in a regular or irregular arrangement.

2. According to the American Association for Materials Testing, the classification of granite is divided into ordinary granite and black granite. Ordinary granite consists of quartz, feldspar, marble, etc., but also because of non-ferrous minerals and black or dark green, as a whole is often feldspar around its color. The dark green or black rocks of the black granite are made of plagioclase, pyroxene, olivine, hornblende and other rocks. Therefore, the black granite is divided into three kinds: porphyry rock, diabase, and basalt.
